It’s nice to meet you
COACH / STRATEGIST / MAMA
My story
I’m Olivia, but you can call me Liv. I was born and grew up in Southend-on-sea, in Essex. After University, I moved to Bristol where I didn’t know anyone starting a new job as an intern in a digital agency. Life has taken many crazy twists and turns since then as I developed a successful career in tech.
All the while, my reliance on fitness and exercise was always a constant means to managing my mental health. Long before I became a qualified Personal Trainer, I was coaching friends and running classes in my workplace.
In 2020 I started a qualification in Executive Coaching and it genuinely changed my life. The ability to coach and be coached is one of life’s greatest gifts. I’ve been mentoring and coaching women since for nearly 4 years, and there is no better feeling than getting that lightbulb moment in a coaching session.
A need to live a more purposeful life
When I had my son in 2022, I noticed how nervous I felt about working out during and after having a baby. At times, I felt disconnected with my body and was uncertain about what I should and shouldn’t be doing (even as a qualified personal trainer, but guess what, the taught module in pre/post natal training only covers a small small part of it!)
Psychologically, I really struggled with the change to my life with having a baby and through workouts I could feel stronger and more in tune with my body.
Meanwhile, wasn’t feeling completely satisfied in my job role and that it started to feel like I was coasting so I made the bold decision to quit my job and return to self-employment to live life a little more purposefully.
Changing careers, not a nice ‘to have’ but an essential
It is a blessing to have the choice around careers and family planning. For me the choice to leave my job was clear because the cost of staying was causing more damage than good. With babies, toddlers and young children thrown into the mix the decisions around career, life fulfilment and showing up as a parent are intensified.
Helping other mothers to live with purpose
I’m now on a mission to help other women, specifically mothers, to step into their potential and thrive as a mother, wife, employee or business owner.
While I offer local pre/postnatal coaching in Bath, I provide online executive coaching and I’m putting together the plans for an online business that takes the offering onto a much bigger scale.
Content strategy for the greater good
Meanwhile I am very much in the space of offering Content Strategy consultancy for:
- charities / not for profit sector
- businesses fighting climate change
- female-owned businesses
My support is always underpinned with coaching principles, helping teams to build capabilities and confidence to make the right decisions around content.
